Aprilia has secured its own ‘superteam’ lineup for 2025, hiring Marco Bezzecchi alongside Jorge Martin. Both riders were rivals in Moto3 and competed on satellite Ducatis last season. Rivola previously expressed his desire to keep Maverick Vinales in the team, but Vinales decided to join the KTM satellite team, Tech3, alongside Enea Bastianini. Rivola accepts Vinales’ decision and believes that the remaining races of the season will show Vinales’ fighting spirit. Aprilia quickly signed Bezzecchi as a future bet due to his strong performances and three wins from last season. Rivola recognizes Bezzecchi’s talent, especially in wet track conditions and his ability to perform well on new tracks. Aprilia made impressive moves by hiring substitute riders for the upcoming season, securing the second and third place finishers from last year’s championship.
