Chefe demitido da Haas, Guenther Steiner, supostamente buscando comprar uma equipe de F1 após saída surpreendente.

Guenther Steiner, the former team principal of Haas F1, has been in the news recently for his attempt to buy an F1 team. After leaving Haas before the current season, Steiner has been giving interviews in the paddock and even released a book.

However, the Italian-American has big aspirations and is determined to pursue them. According to reports, he is interested in acquiring a stake in an existing team. Furthermore, Steiner has secured an investor who is willing to support him in this bold endeavor.

When asked about these ongoing discussions, Guenther Steiner provided the following statement. It is worth noting that Steiner’s departure from Haas was not amicable, as he had disagreements with the American team’s owner, resulting in his exit. Haas has faced difficulties in recent seasons, both in terms of performance and dealing with major setbacks.

Regarding the possibility of acquiring a stake, Steiner has shown interest in VCARB. However, Red Bull has its own conditions, insisting on using the Red Bull-Ford power unit from 2026 to 2030.

Despite parting ways with the Kannapolis-based team, Guenther Steiner praised Haas for their improved performance this season. However, he also believes that the American team may be downplaying their expectations.

In response to these claims, the new team principal of Haas shared the following observations. After four rounds, the Haas F1 team has accumulated an impressive four points, especially considering their disastrous campaign in 2023. The VF-24 has shown good performance against their competitors, and it will be intriguing to see what the team led by Ayao Komatsu can achieve in the upcoming races.
