As the Formula 1 2025 pre-season testing enters its final day in Bahrain, the anticipation among fans and teams alike is palpable. The Bahrain International Circuit is abuzz with activity as teams and drivers seize the last opportunity to fine-tune their cars before the season opener in Australia.

Day two of the testing saw a remarkable performance from Williams driver Carlos Sainz, who not only set the fastest lap time of the day but also completed the maximum number of laps. Clocking an impressive 127 laps, Sainz was the most engaged driver on the circuit on Thursday. The speedster clocked a best lap time of 1m 29.348s, surpassing Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton’s morning record by a mere 0.031s. It’s worth noting that this is the second year in a row that Sainz has dominated the timesheets on the second day of pre-season testing.

As we move into the third and final day of pre-season testing, the focus will be on the final outcomes. The teams will be gathering crucial data that will inform their strategies for the first race of the season in Australia. The morning session will see Norris from McLaren, Leclerc from Ferrari, Verstappen from Red Bull, Antonelli from Mercedes, Stroll from Aston Martin, Doohan from Alpine, Bearman from Haas, Hadjar from Racing Bulls and Albon from Williams. The afternoon session will have Piastri from McLaren, Hamilton from Ferrari, Verstappen from Red Bull, Russell from Mercedes, Alonso from Aston Martin, Gasly from Alpine, Ocon from Haas, Tsunoda from Racing Bulls and Hulkenberg from Sauber.

Day 3 of the F1 pre-season testing for the 2025 season is scheduled for February 28. The action begins at 10:00 local time in Bahrain and concludes at 19:00 local time. If you’re tuning in from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, see the conversion times below:

– United Kingdom: The pre-season testing will start at 07:00 GMT and end at 16:00 GMT.
– USA and Canada: The event will start at 02:00 ET/23:00 PT (previous day) and end at 11:00 ET/08:00 PT.
– Australia: For fans in Australia, the testing will kick off at 18:00 AEST and close at 03:00 (following day).
– New Zealand: Fans in New Zealand can catch the action from 21:00 NZDT, ending at 06:00 (following day).
