Formula One fans have been buzzing with speculation about Lewis Hamilton’s performance at Ferrari, but team principal Fred Vasseur is not having any of it. Vasseur slammed suggestions that Hamilton is struggling to adapt to his new car, emphasizing that all drivers are continually learning and evolving.

Despite a rocky start at Ferrari, Hamilton showed some promise at Imola, climbing from P12 to finish fourth in his first Italian race. Vasseur shut down critics, stating, “Every single driver is working on himself, trying to do a better job. We need to improve communication and understanding, but Hamilton is making progress, and we need to stay calm.”

Hamilton, who has been vocal about his frustrations this season, expressed optimism after the race, highlighting the potential for a win if the car performs as it did at Imola. The seven-time world champion praised his team’s strategy and performance, indicating that with some tweaks, they could be fighting for the podium consistently.

Looking ahead, Hamilton mentioned having ideas to enhance the car’s performance, despite facing some internal resistance. He acknowledged the positives from Imola, noting improvements in synergy and setup, with a focus on unlocking the car’s full potential in qualifying to secure better race positions.

As the F1 season unfolds, all eyes will be on Hamilton and Ferrari as they strive to optimize their performance and challenge for the top spots on the podium.
