Fiat Pandina é o Panda mais tecnológico e mais seguro de sempre

Fiat presented this Thursday the special Pandina series, in homage to the first Panda launched in 1980, and which comes with important technological and safety updates.

In this way, the Pandina is equipped with a standard equipment level that includes Advanced Emergency Braking System, Lane Departure Warning, as well as Fatigue Detection Sensor to warn the driver when tired.

In addition, it also features Traffic Sign Recognition, which is displayed on the new fully digital 7” instrument panel, rear parking sensors, and Cruise Control maintains the set speed – from 30 km/h – without the need to press the accelerator pedal.

From a design point of view, and in its Cross version, it features a new white dashboard panel and new seats with embossed monogram and “Pandina” logo, yellow double stitching, white details, and Seaqual thread with sustainable raw material, derived from marine waste.

The exterior is enriched with special details, such as the face of a small panda on the wheel caps, yellow mirror covers, the inscription Pandina on the side frames, and a “Pandina” serigraphy on the third brake light.

In addition, the Cross version features a new white dashboard front panel and new seats with embossed “Pandina” monogram and logo, with double yellow stitching, white details, and Seaqual thread made from sustainable raw materials sourced from marine waste.

On the exterior, there are few changes to note as the Pandina is the same as the current Panda, measuring 3.69 meters in length, 1.66 meters in width, 1.55 meters in height, and with a wheelbase of 2.3 meters. However, Fiat has decided to enhance this special edition with new details, such as a small panda design on the wheel caps, yellow mirror covers, “Pandina” inscription on the side moldings, and a “Pandina” serigraphy on the third stop light.

In addition to the existing colors – Gelato White, Cinema Black, Passione Red, and Italy Blue – the Pandina is offered in the new Positano Yellow and new two-tone combinations (contrasting black roof).

When it comes to the engine, there are no changes and the Pandina features the 70 hp 1.0 Mild Hybrid engine, and a six-speed manual gearbox that transmits power to the front axle.

“The new Fiat Pandina is a tribute to the love that Italians have for the Panda. In fact, ‘Pandina’ is actually the nickname that people in this country have always given to the car. I am proud to present this special series on the day I can also announce that the Panda will continue to be produced in Pomigliano d’Arco at least until 2027,” emphasized Olivier François, CEO of FIAT and Global CMO of Stellantis, during the presentation of the Pandina.

Although the price of the special Pandina series has not been revealed, Fiat has announced that the new model will be available in the main European markets starting from the summer.
