FIA Formula 2 revela calendário de 2025.

The FIA Formula 2 Championship for the year 2025 has revealed its calendar, which includes 14 rounds and a total of 28 races in 13 different nations. The schedule for the upcoming F2 season will be similar to that of 2024, although some changes have been made to accommodate modifications in the Formula 1 calendar. The action will kick off in Melbourne, Australia, from March 14 to 16, followed by back-to-back races in Bahrain (April 11 to 13) and Saudi Arabia (April 18 to 20). After a brief one-month break, a sequence of three races will take place in Imola, Monaco, and Barcelona, from May 16 to June 1. The first half of the season will conclude at the Red Bull Ring in Austria from June 27 to 29, with the British round at Silverstone immediately following on July 4 to 6. A three-week break will precede the next European double-header in Spa and Hungaroring, from July 25 to August 3. The series will then have a summer break before resuming in Monza from September 5 to 7. The European leg will be concluded in Baku, Azerbaijan, from September 19 to 21, before the season enters a nearly two-month break. The final races will be held in Qatar from November 28 to 30, and in Abu Dhabi from December 5 to 7.

“It is exciting to announce the F2 schedule that will once again see the series join Formula 1 in 14 Grand Prix events next season,” said Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1.

The hierarchical structure is crucial for the long-term success of Formula 1, and the close connection between these two series is beneficial not only for our fans, who witness more intense races, but also for the drivers, who gain valuable experience competing on F1 circuits and have the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of enthusiastic crowds, global TV audiences, and F1 teams watching.

The Championship this year continues to offer exciting races at every event, and I want to acknowledge the efforts of Bruno Michel, CEO of F2/F3, his team, and all the competitors on the grid.

I would also like to express my gratitude to the FIA for their strategic and fundamental support in this significant championship, as well as to our long-standing partners Pirelli, Aramco, Dallara, and Mecachrome. I look forward to the remainder of this season and anticipating another exceptional year in 2025.

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem commented: “As a crucial step in the FIA single-seater pyramid, the FIA Formula 2 Championship offers emerging talents the opportunity to showcase their skills to a global audience.

The 2025 schedule presents challenges for the drivers, with a mix of traditional and contemporary circuits and destinations, as they strive to become our future champions. I look forward to witnessing the class of 2025 in action.”

FIA Formula 2 CEO Bruno Michel expressed his satisfaction in announcing the 2025 F2 schedule, noting its similarity to the 2024 schedule in terms of quantity and content.

“It properly balances European stages and international events, spanning three continents, while also considering the financial implications for our teams and drivers,” he stated.

“It also offers a mix of classic tracks and more modern layouts, both of which have seen exciting F2 races in recent years. I am confident this will be the case again in 2025.”
