The roar of the engines is getting louder as Ferrari gears up for a thrilling showdown at Imola, with Team Principal, Frederic Vasseur, setting the bar high with the goal to maximize the team’s potential.
Following a disappointing performance in Miami, where Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton finished in seventh and eighth place respectively, Ferrari is now looking to dominate their home race at Imola. The SF-25 proved to be the fifth force on the track, trailing behind Williams, who clinched fifth place with Alex Albon behind the wheel.
Looking back at last year’s race in Imola, the SF-24 failed to challenge Max Verstappen and Lando Norris despite significant upgrades. Leclerc managed to secure a third-place finish, the same position he started from. Given this year’s results, replicating such a feat on Sunday would be a monumental task for the Maranello-based team.
Vasseur expressed his optimism and determination, stating, “After the first six races, held across three different continents, we kick off the European phase of the championship at Imola. Following the last Grand Prix, we have been working tirelessly in Maranello, fine-tuning every detail in preparation for the upcoming race with the aim of maximizing the potential of our package and enabling Charles and Lewis to perform at their best on a challenging track. Additionally, we will have the support of our Italian fans, and we are delighted about this.”
Excitement is building as Ferrari fans eagerly anticipate a thrilling performance at Imola, with the team setting their sights on a podium finish. Stay tuned as the iconic Italian team revs up for a high-octane battle on the historic Imola circuit.
