Hamilton’s performance was nothing short of stellar, demonstrating his prowess throughout the day. He was in his element, delivering a flawless performance that culminated in him securing the prime spot for the forthcoming sprint race. This impressive feat reasserts his status as a formidable force in the world of Formula 1 racing.

Despite McLaren’s dominance in the early stages of the qualifying sessions, they were unable to maintain their lead. Their promising start unravelled in the third qualifying session, with Oscar Piastri finishing third and Lando Norris falling to sixth position. Norris, unfortunately, made errors in both his attempts, which further impacted McLaren’s standing.
