Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion, is hopeful for a major turnaround for Ferrari at the upcoming Bahrain Grand Prix after confirming the introduction of an upgraded floor.

Despite a disappointing start to the season for Hamilton with Ferrari, he remains optimistic about the team’s chances in Bahrain. Hamilton expressed his excitement about the new upgrades, particularly in downforce, that could potentially enhance Ferrari’s performance on the track.

The Bahrain Grand Prix holds a special significance as Formula 1 returns to the venue where pre-season testing took place. Hamilton believes the familiarity with the circuit from testing, coupled with the new upgrades and a better understanding of the car’s setup, could lead to a more promising weekend for Ferrari.

However, Hamilton is realistic about Ferrari’s position in comparison to early frontrunners like McLaren. He acknowledged the challenge of catching up to teams like McLaren, Red Bull, and his former team Mercedes, who have all shown impressive performances in the early races of the season.

Hamilton’s teammate, Charles Leclerc, is also optimistic about Ferrari’s prospects in Bahrain, especially with the high temperatures expected during the race weekend. Leclerc highlighted the team’s desire to bounce back from a challenging start to the season and compete at the front of the grid.

Both drivers are hopeful that the new upgrades and the favorable conditions in Bahrain will help Ferrari narrow the performance gap and deliver stronger results in the upcoming race.

As Formula 1 fans gear up for the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, all eyes will be on Ferrari to see if they can indeed make a significant improvement and challenge the dominance of teams like McLaren and Red Bull. Stay tuned for an action-packed race weekend in Sakhir!
