Antonio Fuoco Dominates Final Practice Session at Spa-Francorchamps!
Italian driver Antonio Fuoco of Ferrari stole the show during the third free practice session at the FIA World Endurance Championship’s 6 Hours of Spa by setting an impressive lap time of 2:00.596, leaving his competitors in the dust.
The session today ran smoothly compared to yesterday’s chaos, where multiple red flags interrupted the practice. Fuoco’s Ferrari #50 outshined the competition, with Cadillac drivers Earl Bamber and Alex Lynn following closely behind in second and third place.
Robert Kubica in the AF Corse Ferrari and Brendon Hartley in the Toyota GR010 Hybrid secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively. Meanwhile, Peugeot’s Jean-Eric Vergne and Toyota’s Kamui Kobayashi claimed the sixth and seventh spots on the leaderboard.
Despite crashing in FP2 yesterday, Antonio Giovinazzi in Ferrari #51 made an impressive comeback, finishing in ninth place. The top ten was completed by Charles Milesi in the Alpine.
In the LMGT3 category, Simon Mann in the AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 dominated the session with a lap time of 2:17.831, surpassing Gianmarco Levorato in the Proton Ford Mustang GT3 and Clemens Schmid in the ASP Lexus RC F GT3.
