In a thrilling revelation, Charles Leclerc insists that the key to keeping Ferrari in the title race lies in fixing their qualifying woes. Despite a rocky start to the season, Leclerc remains hopeful about Ferrari’s championship aspirations but emphasizes the urgent need to address their qualifying struggles.

Ferrari, eager to clinch both the drivers’ and constructors’ championships this year, has faced setbacks in the early races. Leclerc’s recent third-place finish at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix marked Ferrari’s first podium of the season, highlighting the team’s potential for success. However, Leclerc points out that their qualifying performance, particularly securing fourth place on the grid, has been a major hindrance to their success.

Leclerc expressed his frustration, stating, “For two years, we are just struggling in qualifying to put everything together.” He highlighted the variability of the issues faced, such as losing four tenths of a second in the first three corners during the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix qualifying session. Despite showcasing strong race pace, Leclerc emphasized the critical importance of qualifying in determining race outcomes.

The talented driver acknowledged Ferrari’s strengths in race strategy and execution, praising the team’s efforts during the Grand Prix weekend. Leclerc commended the car’s performance during the race but stressed the need to enhance qualifying performance to secure better starting positions.

With Ferrari currently trailing in the championship standings, Leclerc emphasized the urgency of identifying and rectifying their qualifying issues promptly. He remarked, “We cannot lose too many races before finding it because we’re already 50 points down in the drivers’ championship.”

Leclerc’s insights shed light on Ferrari’s quest for championship glory and the crucial role that qualifying performance plays in their success on the track. As the team strives to overcome these challenges, the upcoming races promise to be a test of Ferrari’s resilience and determination to reclaim their position at the forefront of Formula 1.
