Ferrari has plans to launch a 100% electric model in 2025, but the Maranello brand has already made it clear that it will not give up on continuing to evoke emotions with its models.
In an interview with the American television network “CNBC,” Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari, made it clear that the brand’s electric cars will continue to convey strong emotions, just like the legendary combustion engine models do.
“When we talk about luxury models like our cars, we are talking about the emotion that we are able to deliver to our customers, so we are not talking about functional cars like other 100% electric models that we can see on the road,” explained the CEO of Ferrari.
In addition, the head of the Maranello brand pointed out that combustion engine models will continue to coexist with hybrids and electric cars, even though Ferrari plans to electrify 60% of its range by 2026.
“We have no doubts, honestly, that we can deliver a unique electric experience to our customers because we can take advantage of technology in a unique way,” added Benedetto Vigna.
