Ferrari Faces Urgent Call to Sign F1 Sensation Gabriel Bortoleto

In a dramatic rallying cry that could shape the future of Formula 1, legendary figure Bernie Ecclestone has boldly urged Ferrari to act swiftly and sign the sensational rookie, Gabriel Bortoleto. With a career trajectory that has captured the attention of the racing world, the 20-year-old Brazilian is being hailed as “worth his weight in gold,” prompting the iconic Scuderia to reconsider their driver lineup.

Ecclestone, the 94-year-old former F1 supremo, has made headlines with his passionate endorsement of Bortoleto, whose remarkable performance in the competitive landscape of Formula 2 has been impossible to ignore. Having played a pivotal role in aiding his rise to the F1 grid, Ecclestone is confident that Bortoleto could be the game-changer Ferrari needs as they seek to reclaim their dominance.

While Bortoleto’s teammate, Nico Hulkenberg, has managed to amass more points in the early rounds of the season—including a celebrated podium finish at Silverstone—Bortoleto has consistently showcased superior qualifying prowess. His impressive one-lap speed is underscored by his recent achievements, including scoring points at the Austrian Grand Prix and securing top-10 finishes at both Spa-Francorchamps and the Hungaroring. His sixth-place finish in Hungary was particularly noteworthy, as he successfully fended off pressure from the formidable Max Verstappen during the race’s early stages.

Ecclestone, who has an affinity for Brazil—owning a farm there—expressed his pride in Bortoleto’s journey into the elite ranks of racing. “I’m glad we were able to help the Bortoleto family with their entry into Formula 1,” he stated emphatically. “The boy is worth his weight in gold!”

The former F1 chief’s remarks come in the wake of rising speculation about the future of Ferrari’s current lineup, particularly regarding the potential retirement of their seven-time champion driver. Ecclestone’s comments couldn’t be clearer: “Bortoleto’s strong performances in a midfield team like Sauber should really wake Ferrari up now,” he asserted. “The next driver question for the Italians needs to be resolved with the Brazilian.”

As the F1 season progresses, all eyes are on Ferrari to see if they will heed this urgent call to action. Will they seize the opportunity to sign a rising star and secure their future in the sport? With the clock ticking and the competition heating up, the pressure is mounting on the Maranello-based team to make a bold move. The world waits with bated breath to see if Ferrari will awaken from its slumber and embrace the electrifying potential of Gabriel Bortoleto.
