Ferrari starts strong in Spa with a one-two finish in FP1.

Antonio Fuoco from Ferrari AF Corse was the fastest in the first practice session for the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. He clocked a time of 2:05.690 driving the Ferrari 499P #50. His teammate and fellow Italian, Antonio Giovinazzi, came in second with a time of 2:06.831 in the Ferrari #51. The Lamborghini Iron Lynx #63, driven by Daniil Kvyat, took third place, just 0.167 seconds behind Giovinazzi. Mick Schumacher, in the Alpine A424 #36, finished fourth, just 0.022 seconds behind Kvyat. Yifei Ye in the AF Corse Ferrari #83 secured fifth place with a time of 2:07.087. The sixth, seventh, and eighth positions were occupied by three Porsche 963s, with Neel Jani in the Proton Porsche #99 leading the group. The leading Peugeot, driven by Nico Muller in the #93, came in ninth, while Paul-Loup Chatin in the Alpine #35 completed the top ten. There were no major incidents during the session, just a few local yellow flags due to minor spins and off-track excursions. In the LMGT3 category, Daniel Juncadella in the TF Sport Corvette Z06 GT3R #82 set the fastest time of 2:20.855. Davide Rigon in the AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 #54 finished second, 0.335 seconds behind Juncadella. Daniel Mancinelli in the Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 #27 came in third, another 0.15 seconds behind Rigon. The second practice session, FP2, will begin at 5:30 PM local time.
