Ferrari shakes up team dynamics: Riccardo Adami ousted as Lewis Hamilton’s race engineer

SHOCKWAVES IN F1: Lewis Hamilton’s Engineer Riccardo Adami OUSTED After Disastrous Season!

In a bombshell announcement that has sent shockwaves through the world of Formula 1, Lewis Hamilton will be embarking on a new chapter in his illustrious career with a different race engineer at Ferrari in 2026. This drastic change comes on the heels of a tumultuous debut season with the Scuderia, marked by a shocking absence from the podium and a series of frustrating communication breakdowns during races.

2025 was a year to forget for the seven-time world champion, as it marked the first time in his storied career that he failed to secure a single podium finish. The season was riddled with challenges, including a car that struggled to keep pace with the competition, but the most notable source of discontent was the relationship between Hamilton and his race engineer, Riccardo Adami. Tensions flared as Hamilton frequently expressed dissatisfaction with the radio communications, especially during critical moments of the races.

In a strategic move, Ferrari has officially confirmed that Adami has been relieved of his duties as Hamilton’s race engineer. However, this is not the end for Adami at Ferrari; he will be taking on a new role within the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy. There, he will oversee the management of Test Previous Cars and lend his vast experience to the development of young racing talents.

Ferrari expressed gratitude for Adami’s contributions on the track, stating, “The Scuderia Ferrari HP announces that Riccardo Adami will now serve in a new capacity within the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy as the head of Test Previous Cars, where his extensive on-track experience and knowledge of Formula 1 will significantly enhance the development of future stars and bolster the performance culture of the program.”

The Scuderia Ferrari HP has made it clear they appreciate Adami’s dedication and impact during his time on the track, wishing him every success in his new role. Meanwhile, fans and pundits alike are on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the announcement of Hamilton’s new race engineer for car number 44.

The stakes are higher than ever as Ferrari seeks to turn the page on a disappointing season and restore Hamilton to his rightful place at the top of the podium. With new leadership in place, can Hamilton and Ferrari reclaim their glory in 2026? The countdown has begun!
