The Formula 1 world is buzzing as Ferrari gears up for a monumental season in 2025, with none other than seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton set to join Charles Leclerc on the grid for the Prancing Horse. In a move that’s electrified fans and rivals alike, Hamilton’s transition from Mercedes to Ferrari marks a new era for the Italian team, and they’re pulling out all the stops to make it unforgettable.

Ferrari has sealed a game-changing partnership with tech titan IBM, valued at a staggering $197.59 billion, set to begin on January 1, 2025. This multi-year deal is poised to bring cutting-edge technology and consulting prowess to the Maranello team, just in time to support Hamilton’s arrival. Ferrari’s Chief Racing Revenue Officer celebrated the collaboration, emphasizing IBM’s alignment with Ferrari’s commitment to excellence and innovation. “Our companies share values like the relentless pursuit of excellence and the desire to push boundaries. We’re combining our technology and expertise to achieve unparalleled performance.”

For Hamilton, joining Ferrari is a dream come true—a sentiment he shared in a candid conversation with a former Mercedes writer. “The dream of every driver is to race with Ferrari. I didn’t want to end my career wondering what it would have been like to race for Ferrari,” Hamilton admitted. His move is a personal and professional milestone, as he aims to capture an elusive title with the legendary red team. Should he succeed, he’ll not only make history by winning with Ferrari but also set the record for the most world championships in F1 history.

Having spent over a decade with Mercedes and winning six championships with the team, Hamilton’s departure is a seismic shift in F1’s landscape. Now, he’s betting on Ferrari to deliver that record-breaking eighth title, joining the ranks of F1 icons who’ve piloted the legendary red cars.

With IBM’s tech might behind them and Hamilton’s winning mentality on board, Ferrari is setting the stage for an electrifying 2025 season.
