Lewis Hamilton’s struggles in the 2025 F1 season continue to baffle fans and experts alike, with the seven-time World Champion delivering underwhelming performances that are far from his usual standard.

After switching from Mercedes to Ferrari, many anticipated a revitalized Hamilton challenging for victories and the championship. However, the reality has been starkly different, with Hamilton yet to secure a Grand Prix podium and trailing his teammate, Charles Leclerc, in the standings.

Former F1 team owner Gian Carlo Minardi expressed his bewilderment at Hamilton’s form, labeling it as “inexplicable.” Despite a brief moment of hope with a pole position and a win at the Sprint in China, Hamilton has struggled to match the pace of his rivals in qualifying and races.

Hamilton’s disappointing showing at the Saudi Arabian GP, where he finished a distant seventh behind Leclerc, raised concerns about his performance. Minardi praised Leclerc for his podium finish and criticized Hamilton for not performing at a level befitting a seven-time World Champion.

In a post-race interview, Hamilton admitted his struggles, stating, “There’s nothing to say, ‘Hey, this is the issue.’ At the moment there’s no fix. This is how it’s going to be for the rest of the year. It’s just going to be painful.” Determined to find solutions, Hamilton canceled his plans and headed to Ferrari’s headquarters to analyze his performance and seek improvements.

The ongoing saga of Hamilton’s uncharacteristic struggles has left fans and experts questioning the reasons behind his downturn in form. As the F1 season unfolds, all eyes will be on Hamilton to see if he can overcome these challenges and return to his winning ways.
