Ferrari Frustration: Leclerc Criticizes Car’s Lack of Speed in Every Turn

In a disappointing turn of events for Ferrari, driver Charles Leclerc expresses his frustration with the lack of pace in the Ferrari SF-25, stating, “We are not fast in any turn.” Despite his efforts, Leclerc could only secure a sixth-place grid position in the Qualifying Sprint for the GP of Miami, with teammate Lewis Hamilton following closely behind in seventh.

Leclerc, feeling the pressure of the challenging weekend in Florida, acknowledges the struggles the team is facing, especially in slow corners which seem to be their Achilles’ heel. The Monacan driver laments the car’s performance, highlighting the inability to push it to its limits: “The lap was good, but the result was not. We absolutely have no pace for now. Tomorrow I will try to do something special at the start, but honestly, there is not much room for improvement based on what we saw today. The car is what it is at the moment.”

Despite Leclerc’s determination to make up for the car’s deficiencies, the overall sentiment within the team is one of concern as they grapple with the lack of competitiveness in various sections of the track. With the GP of Miami posing a tough challenge for Ferrari, all eyes are on Leclerc to see if he can pull off a miraculous performance in the race to salvage valuable points for the team.
