Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton found themselves in the midst of a team order controversy during the Miami Grand Prix, further adding fuel to the already intense rivalry between Ferrari and Mercedes. Despite the tense situation on the track, Leclerc has clarified that there are “no bad feelings” towards Hamilton following the dramatic race.

The Ferrari drivers had a challenging race in Miami, with Leclerc finishing in P7 and Hamilton in P8 after a series of strategic decisions and team orders. Hamilton, starting on hard tires, found himself behind Leclerc, who was on mediums, after the pit stops. Ferrari initially instructed Leclerc to hold position, frustrating Hamilton. However, a change of heart led to Leclerc being asked to yield to Hamilton, only for the positions to be swapped again later in the race.

While Leclerc expressed frustration over Ferrari’s lack of pace compared to their rivals, he made it clear that any negative emotions were not directed towards Hamilton. Despite the on-track drama, Leclerc acknowledged Hamilton’s desire to optimize his race strategy and praised his aggressive approach on the medium tires.

The post-race interaction between Leclerc and Hamilton was limited, with Leclerc confirming that they did not have a chance to speak extensively. The frustration felt by both drivers was evident over team radio, reflecting the intense competition and pressure they are under to deliver results for their teams.

The Miami Grand Prix highlighted the fierce competition and strategic battles unfolding in the Formula 1 season, with every point crucial in the fight for the championship. As Ferrari and Mercedes continue to push each other to the limit, the rivalry between Leclerc and Hamilton is set to intensify, promising more thrilling moments and controversies on the track.
