Ferrari estreia SF-24 azul no Grande Prêmio de Miami.

Ferrari holds the record for being the most successful team in Formula 1 history. The iconic team founder famously stated that if you ask a child to draw a car, they will draw it in red. That is why Scuderia has always raced in the historic red color in the world of F1. However, for the upcoming Miami GP, the team will break tradition and display two different shades of blue on their SF-24 car during the race weekend.

Ferrari is known for proudly displaying its Italian heritage by painting their race cars red, although they have occasionally deviated from this. Surprisingly, this will not be the first time the team has used blue colors on their car. In 1964, after a disagreement, Enzo Ferrari decided to abandon the red paint and opt for a white and blue color scheme, marking the first time the team strayed from their national colors.

In celebration of their 70th anniversary in North America, Ferrari announced that they will bring back the blue color for the upcoming race in Miami. The team will incorporate two shades of blue, namely Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino, on their SF-24 car.

This news has caused quite a stir in the paddock, as it is an unprecedented sight. Fans and experts are eager to see how the prancing horses will incorporate the blue tones in place of their characteristic red.

In June 2021, the brand appointed a new CEO, who has since implemented several changes in the F1 team. Ferrari has been on an upward trajectory since then, but the CEO believes there is still much work to be done to restore the team to its former glory.

The CEO is optimistic about the team’s chances and hopes to see them back on top of the podium soon. He expressed satisfaction with the team’s progress, noting that they had only achieved one victory in 2023. In contrast, Ferrari has already secured a win this season and currently holds the second place in the constructors’ standings. This progress indicates that the team is heading in the right direction and inspires confidence in the CEO for the future.

Furthermore, Ferrari is about to finalize a lucrative deal worth $500 million per year. As a result, the team has planned upgrade packages for the upcoming race weekend in Imola. They are hopeful that these upgrades will bring positive results and help them climb higher on the grid after a disappointing performance at the Chinese GP weekend.
