Ferrari Boss Confesses Team’s Failure to Support Lewis Hamilton’s Success

In a shocking revelation, Ferrari’s F1 team principal Fred Vasseur has publicly admitted to underestimating the challenges faced by seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton upon his move from Mercedes to Ferrari. The highly-anticipated switch in 2025 was supposed to mark a new era for both Hamilton and the renowned Italian team. However, with Hamilton failing to secure a single podium finish in 14 races leading up to the summer break, it’s evident that the partnership has not lived up to expectations.

Vasseur’s candid confession to La Gazzetta dello Sport laid bare the struggles Hamilton has encountered, emphasizing the difficulties of transitioning from a long-established Mercedes environment to the unique culture at Ferrari. The weight of expectations on Hamilton’s shoulders seems to have taken a toll, with both Vasseur and the star driver misjudging the magnitude of the shift.

Amidst mounting speculation about Hamilton’s future with Ferrari, following a disappointing performance in Hungary where he finished in 12th place and failed to score any points, the narrative has taken a bleak turn. Hamilton’s self-critical remarks and doubts about his own effectiveness have fueled rumors of a potential departure from the team. The 40-year-old racing icon faces a critical juncture in his career, with only 10 races left this season to prove his mettle and silence the skeptics.

As the F1 world braces for a potential shake-up, Hamilton’s struggles at Ferrari have sent shockwaves through the motorsport community. Will he rise from the ashes and reclaim his former glory, or is this the beginning of the end for the illustrious career of one of the sport’s most iconic figures? Stay tuned as the drama unfolds on the high-speed battlegrounds of Formula 1.
