Fernando Alonso’s F1 Nightmare Continues with Eighth Consecutive Point-less Race

Former F1 champion Fernando Alonso’s 2025 season is turning into a nightmare as he endured his eighth consecutive race without scoring a single point. The latest disappointment came at the Monaco Grand Prix, where Alonso, starting in sixth position, was forced to retire due to a power unit issue while running in sixth place.

This unfortunate streak marks Alonso’s worst start to a season since his debut in 2001 for Minardi when he also went without scoring any points. The Spanish racer’s luck seems to have run out as he faced a similar seven-race point-less streak back in 2015, following a testing crash that led to him missing the Australian GP due to concussion protocols.

Alonso’s struggles on the track continue to mount, with each race adding to the pressure on the seasoned driver to turn his luck around. Despite his experience and past successes, the 2025 season is proving to be a challenging chapter for the once-dominant force in Formula 1.

As fans and critics alike watch closely, the question remains: Can Fernando Alonso break free from this point-less run and reclaim his former glory on the F1 circuit? Only time will tell if the Spanish racer can overcome the obstacles standing in his way and rise once again to the pinnacle of motorsport.
