Max Verstappen and Red Bull are still considered the favorites for the next season thanks to the new Red Bull RB-20. The recent F1 preseason tests in Bahrain have been concluded and the teams are now preparing for the first race of the 2024 season. During the third session, Verstappen managed to finish in fourth place, with Perez in tenth. Red Bull achieved great results during the tests, raising doubts about the chances of victory for other drivers throughout the season. Alonso mentioned that the other drivers on the grid will be aware of the slim chances of competing for the championship after Verstappen’s dominant performance.
