Fernando Alonso’s Back Woes: No Pain in FP2!

In a shocking turn of events at the Hungarian Grand Prix, Fernando Alonso’s absence during FP1 due to a lingering back issue raised concerns about his participation for the rest of the weekend. However, the Spanish driver swiftly put those fears to rest by hitting the track for FP2 and reassuring everyone about his condition.

Alonso, who clinched his first F1 victory at the Hungaroring back in 2003, disclosed the challenges he faced with a muscle injury in his back. Despite skipping FP1, he emphasized that he felt no pain during FP2, marking a positive development in his recovery. “We have found some solutions to manage it, and I had no pain in FP2, so that’s a good sign,” Alonso stated.

Looking ahead, the 44-year-old highlighted the team’s overnight efforts to fine-tune the car’s balance for improved performance. “The car balance is not there yet, and we need to work on it overnight. We will analyze all the data and see what we can do tomorrow,” Alonso added.

As the anticipation builds for the upcoming races, Alonso’s resilience in overcoming his back discomfort and focusing on enhancing the car’s setup underscores his unwavering determination on the track. Stay tuned for more updates as the Grand Prix action unfolds!
