António Félix da Costa em entrevista: “Ambição nunca muda, quero sempre ganhar!”

António Félix da Costa, in the Porsche 9XX Electric, was the sixth fastest driver in free practice 1 for the Mexico City ePrix, a race with 35 laps to be held today at 20:04 in Continental Portugal, and which marks the start of Season 10 of the Formula E World Championship. The Portuguese driver completed the 2.628 km circuit with nineteen curves in 1’14″887, which was “tailor-made” at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, including a section inside the Foro Sol (a stadium with a capacity of over 25,000 spectators).

Félix da Costa was 0.523 seconds slower than the fastest driver of the session, British driver Jake Hughes from McLaren, who prematurely stopped the practice session about six minutes before the checkered flag, after colliding with the wall on the outside of turn one of the Mexican circuit. This incident occurred shortly after he set the fastest lap of the session, with 1’14″364.

Today, starting at 15:40 in Continental Portugal, there will be qualifying for the first ePrix of 2024.
