António Félix da Costa, in Porsche 9XX Electric, entered the Formula E World Championship on the wrong foot, leaving the scene very early in the inaugural race of Season 10 of the electric single-seater championship. The Portuguese driver retired on lap 3, after an incident with Nico Müller’s Mahindra M9Electro, the Swiss driver from ABT Cupra, at turn 4 of the circuit at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
For Félix da Costa, counting the end of the 2023 season, it’s the 5th consecutive race outside the points in the Formula E World Championship and a discreet start to the season, also due to the modest result in qualifying (only 16th place!), in contrast to the pole position of his teammate, German driver Pascal Wehrlein.
