Fãs pedem que a Red Bull demita Sergio Perez e traga Carlos Sainz após o piloto mexicano não avançar para o Q2 no GP da Emilia Romagna.

Carlos Sainz conquered fifth place in the qualifying session at Imola. Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz have been leading the pack since the beginning of the 2024 season. The Austrian team has consistently outperformed their rivals, but within the Red Bull team, Perez has been overshadowed by his teammate. This performance gap was evident in the qualifying at Imola, where Perez was eliminated in Q2, leading fans to call for his replacement by Sainz.

Qualifying at Imola is always an intriguing session. The Italian track has a history of producing interesting stories, and this time was no different. The experienced driver, Perez, qualified in 20th place for the next race. Both Sainz and Perez were at risk of being eliminated in the next session, but Sainz managed to secure fifth place, while Perez only managed 11th place in the RB20 car.

What made this situation even more interesting was that Perez was overtaken by a driver in an inferior car in Q3. Fans expressed their disappointment with Perez’s performance and suggested that Sainz replace him. This sentiment is in line with the opinions of Formula 1 experts, increasing the pressure on Perez.

Despite being one of the few drivers to have won a race this season, Perez’s future remains uncertain. There have been rumors that he could move to different teams, including Audi and Red Bull, but no confirmation has been made. When asked about his prospects, Sainz gave a discouraging answer, indicating the uncertainty surrounding his decision.

Sainz mentioned that discussions about his future are not progressing quickly and no breakthrough has been made. Despite this, he hoped to secure pole position for Sunday’s race and give Ferrari fans a memorable victory. However, his hopes were dashed when his teammate secured the fastest lap and pole position. Sainz settled for fifth place on the grid and now aims to achieve a good result in the highly anticipated race.
