Several drivers in the FIA Formula 3 World Championship anticipate that the races in Monaco will be less chaotic compared to those in Imola. The Sprint Race in Emilia Romagna last weekend had several interruptions, with multiple drivers suffering collisions or going off track. However, the Feature race in Imola was calmer, and drivers believe Monaco will be similar in terms of race cleanliness. Gabriele Mini, from Prema, stated that the Sprint in Imola had several safety cars, but mentioned that the new gravel traps made it easier to get stuck. He expects fewer safety cars in Monaco, except perhaps during the first lap. Nikita Bedrin agreed with Mini, but believed there could be red flags during practice and qualifying as drivers familiarize themselves with the Monaco circuit. Bedrin’s prediction proved correct, as the practice session was interrupted several times. Laurens van Hoepen had a slightly different perspective, suggesting that the Sprint race in Monaco could be chaotic due to the presence of many rookies. However, he expects the Feature race to be cleaner in the future.
