F3 campeã Mini se sentindo otimista antes de Mônaco.

Gabriele Mini, an Italian driver competing with Prema Racing, is confident for the upcoming round in Monaco. He had a successful race in Monaco last year and is currently in fourth place in the drivers’ standings. Mini, who is 19 years old, is just seven points behind the current leader, Leonardo Fornaroli. He believes he has a strong chance of performing well this weekend. Mini has previous experience racing in the Formula Regional Championship by Alpine and won the feature race of the F3 in Monaco last year.

Mini acknowledges that this year’s championship is highly competitive, with five drivers separated by just 11 points at the top of the table. Although he has not yet won a race this season, Mini attributes his success to maximizing every opportunity and recognizes the skill of his competitors. He emphasizes the importance of consistency in the championship race, but also acknowledges the need to win races to gain a significant advantage.

“What I’m trying to do is focus on each individual event. So, focus on each practice lap, each qualifying lap, and each race. My goal is to make the most of every point we earn, sometimes avoiding excessive risks. In the end, my goal is to successfully complete each race.”

“Although I still strive to achieve victories, I believe there is not much missing in my performances to reach the top of the podium in 2024. Despite a challenging start in Imola that prevented me from gaining a substantial amount of points, I am optimistic about the future due to my strong pace.”

“I don’t believe we are missing much,” he stated.

“In Imola, I had a clutch problem at the start of the race. Consequently, I lost seven positions, but I managed to recover and finish in sixth place. To be honest, it was the best opportunity I had this season, as we demonstrated exceptional speed on the track.

Therefore, if we had a normal start, we wouldn’t have won easily, but we would have certainly competed for the victory.

However, when victory is out of reach, it is crucial to maximize the points.”
