Programa de treinamento da F1 aprovação impulsiona confiança da Ford na Red Bull.

Emily de Heus, a driver for MP Motorsport and part of the Red Bull Formula 1 Academy, has received sponsorship from Ford, demonstrating the American car brand’s confidence in its partnership with Red Bull powertrains. The iconic blue oval logo is prominently displayed on de Heus’ race car and equipment as she prepares for her second campaign in the Formula 1 academy in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, this weekend.

Ford’s collaboration with Red Bull goes beyond sponsorship, as the two companies have joined forces in anticipation of the Formula 1 power unit regulations for 2026. Red Bull powertrains will receive support from Ford, solidifying their partnership.

However, there have been doubts about Ford’s commitment to the Red Bull team due to recent developments surrounding an investigation into allegations against team principal Christian Horner. The investigation, which was concluded before the Bahrain Grand Prix, cleared Horner of the accusations. However, Ford expressed impatience during the investigation, releasing statements that reflected their expectations of high standards of behavior and integrity from their partners.

Mark Rushbook, Ford’s Global Performance Motorsport Director, refrained from commenting directly on the investigation but acknowledged the seriousness with which Red Bull was handling the situation. He emphasized the need for the truth to emerge from the independent investigation before making any further statements.

However, a letter read by the Associated Press revealed growing frustration within Ford regarding the lack of resolution and transparency surrounding the issue. CEO Jim Farley expressed his disappointment with the lack of a fair resolution and demanded a full report of all findings.

Ford’s support for the Red Bull Formula 1 Academy initiative is a positive development for their partnership. Ford reiterated its commitment to promoting diversity in motorsport through a press release obtained by Autosport. The press release highlights Ford’s dedication to attracting more women to the sport at all levels and roles, especially within Red Bull Technology. This partnership with the Red Bull Formula 1 Ford Academy Program offers Ford the opportunity to expand its efforts in promoting diversity and inclusion.

According to Rushbrook, Ford Performance is determined to collaborate with the FIA and race promoters to integrate more female talent into motorsport. They aim to create opportunities for women both on and off the track. The partnership with the Academy’s Formula 1 is seen as a significant step towards achieving this goal. Ford has already partnered with other racing series and drivers, such as Hailie Deegan and the Rebelle Rally, to increase the presence of women in motorsport. Collaborating with Red Bull is an exciting opportunity for Ford to make a positive impact in the world of Formula 1.

Julia George, Director of Partnerships at Red Bull Racing, expressed her enthusiasm for Ford’s entry as the title partner of the Red Bull Ford Academy Program. She emphasized Ford’s desire to increase female representation in motorsport, both in competition and beyond. The Formula 1 Academy is seen as a crucial platform for advancing the progression of female drivers to the next level in motorsport. Ford’s technical expertise is considered vital for the success of the Red Bull Ford Academy car program. Expectations are high for the 2024 season of the Formula 1 Academy, as the partnership between Ford and Red Bull promises exciting possibilities.
