This has proven to be a game-changer, setting them apart from the competition. “I don’t ever believe in one silver bullet,” he explained. “It’s just a combination of great work that they’ve done. But I think we’ve learned a lot in how to deal with being on the back foot.”
Reflecting on the past three years, Russell revealed a sense of regret, suggesting that if given the chance, Mercedes would have approached their decisions differently—perhaps avoiding the rush to find that elusive “silver bullet” solution.
