Martin Brundle highlighted that Lewis Hamilton had a successful weekend in Montreal, despite making minor mistakes. After a challenging moment in the previous event, the seven-time world champion managed to secure fourth place after a fierce battle with other competitors. Despite facing difficulties in qualifying, Hamilton showed determination and performed well in the race.

F1 presenter Brundle explained that at the start of the race, Hamilton was driving at a fast pace and making progress, catching up to the leaders. Although the 39-year-old driver finished in fourth place, he considered it one of the least impressive races of his career.

Brundle disagreed with Hamilton’s statement, pointing out that the British driver made minor errors throughout the race. However, he emphasized that overall, Hamilton had a positive performance as the seven-time champion.

Brundle also mentioned the emergence of young talents in the sport, such as Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc. These drivers have shown great speed, fearlessness, and significant racing experience. Hamilton needs to bring his best performance and showcase his skills to compete with them or surpass them.

The 65-year-old commentator noted that when Mercedes switched to dry tires during the race, their car displayed impressive speed on the track. This indicated that Mercedes had the potential to win the race based on their pace. Hamilton managed to secure third position for the team, taking advantage of this opportunity.

Another important point is that once on dry tires, Mercedes had the fastest car and could have potentially won the race solely based on their speed.

A Mercedes made significant improvements to its car and driver performance, introducing necessary updates. Now they are preparing for the next racing event in Barcelona, where fans hope to see Hamilton on the podium.
