F1 specialist claims that Adrian Newey rejected a lucrative deal from Aston Martin despite speculations that he will leave Red Bull.

Adrian Newey, one of the most renowned designers in Formula 1 history, recently made headlines. Reports emerged that the chief designer informed his team in Milton Keynes about his plans to leave. This news sparked speculation about where the British designer could go next. Initially, it seemed that Aston Martin was the favorite, but F1 journalist Peter Windsor revealed that Newey turned down their offer.

Newey is widely considered the greatest car designer in F1. With vast experience, he has achieved great success with teams like and in the past, winning numerous championships with his designs. Since joining Red Bull in 2006, he has been instrumental in their impressive aerodynamic excellence.

However, recent tensions within the team, stemming from allegations against , have made the work environment less than ideal for Newey. This has led him to express his desire to leave and explore other opportunities.

Aston Martin seemed to be the most attractive option, with reports that they offered Newey a substantial salary. However, Peter Windsor stated that the designer declined this offer. It appears that Newey is more interested in a team’s future ambitions than the financial aspect.

Despite previously expressing regret for not working with , Newey reportedly turned down the opportunity to join them. This raises the question of where he will end up if the English team is no longer on his wish list.

Peter Windsor claims to have the answer. He believes that Newey will choose between and for his next career move. Furthermore, Windsor suggests that it is more likely for Newey to join Maranello, as he has faith in .

On the other hand, the Austrian team is confident that Newey will stay in Milton Keynes. However, the transfer market in F1 is highly unpredictable and any move cannot be ruled out.
