Comentarista da F1 alerta Daniel Ricciardo sobre sua idade avançada em meio a rumores de ultimato da Red Bull.

French analyst Fred Ferret provides information on the potential retirement of Daniel Ricciardo due to his disappointing performance this season. The Australian driver had a disastrous start to the 2024 season, consistently being outperformed by his Japanese teammate. Ricciardo is struggling to maximize the potential of his VCARB cars, and there are reports suggesting that Red Bull has given him an ultimatum of two races to improve.

Amidst all the criticism directed at Daniel Ricciardo, Fred Ferret recently spoke to F1 Nation about the driver. Ferret suggests that Ricciardo’s age, 34 years old, may be a contributing factor to his performance decline. He further adds that if Ricciardo does not elevate his performances, retirement may be forced due to his age and string of disappointing results.

According to L’Equipe journalist, Daniel Ricciardo’s position within the team is at risk due to his lack of speed in the early races. Pressure is mounting on the Honey Badger, and only time will tell if he can bounce back stronger in the upcoming races in Japan and China.

Sky Sports F1 analyst, [Pundit], also shares her perspective on Ricciardo’s chances of a comeback this season. She believes that Ricciardo is just taking time to adapt to his V-Carb, much like he did during his time at Renault. [Pundit] highlights the challenges faced by Ricciardo during his stint at McLaren, especially the car’s characteristics and front-end instability. Despite this, she acknowledges that Ricciardo was making progress before his accident and wrist injury during the practice sessions at Zandvoort last year.

[Pundit] remains optimistic about Ricciardo’s potential to bounce back this season. Despite the criticisms he has faced, his confidence in him will serve as motivation for him to come back stronger and show his speed.
