Formula 1 has just dropped a bombshell announcement that is set to shake the motorsport world to its core! The Austrian Grand Prix has secured a monumental extension that will keep the race on the F1 calendar until the jaw-dropping year of 2041.

This groundbreaking news comes just hours before the highly anticipated 2025 event kicks off, sending shockwaves of excitement and anticipation through the racing community. The Austrian Grand Prix, which made its debut on the calendar in 1970 at the iconic Österreichring track, now famously known as the Red Bull Ring, has solidified its position as a fan-favorite and a driver’s delight.

After a brief hiatus in 2003, the Austrian Grand Prix roared back onto the scene 11 years later, thanks to the relentless efforts of Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz. Since its revival, the Red Bull Ring has witnessed unforgettable moments in F1 history, captivating audiences with its thrilling races and picturesque backdrop of the Styrian mountains.

F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali expressed his enthusiasm for the extended partnership, stating, “Austria has long been an incredibly special race for Formula 1, so it’s fantastic we have secured the long-term future of a Grand Prix so deeply rooted in the sport’s history.” The visionary leadership and unwavering passion of Dietrich Mateschitz have transformed the Austrian Grand Prix into a must-see event on the F1 calendar.

As we gear up for at least another 15 years of adrenaline-pumping races in Austria, fans, drivers, and teams can look forward to more iconic moments and unparalleled racing experiences. The Austrian fanbase, known for their unmatched enthusiasm and loyalty, continues to elevate the Grand Prix to new heights, creating an atmosphere unlike any other in the world of motorsport.

With this extended partnership, the Austrian Grand Prix is poised to continue its legacy as a cornerstone of the F1 calendar, promising fans around the globe more heart-stopping action and unforgettable memories for years to come.
