Analista de F1 alega que Christian Horner está protegendo Daniel Ricciardo de ser demitido na RB.

Daniel Ricciardo may extend his time at RB thanks to the support of Christian Horner. The 34-year-old driver has struggled to achieve good results at RB and his recent performances have led many to believe that he is past his prime. Despite this, Ricciardo continues to compete at the top of motorsport, even though there are better options available within the Red Bull family. As a result, an F1 expert suggests that Ricciardo’s continued presence at Red Bull is due to the support he receives from within the team.

While Tsunoda has outperformed Ricciardo since the beginning of the 2024 season, he is considering leaving RB because he has no chance of being promoted to Red Bull Racing. Despite his recent poor performances, Ricciardo would remain at RB. It is suggested that he is being “protected” by someone within the Red Bull family, ensuring that he is safe from being replaced by Tsunoda or any other driver in the near future.

Regarding Tsunoda’s chances of being promoted to Red Bull, it is believed that there is nothing he can do to secure a place on the team. Ricciardo is favored over the young Japanese driver due to his positive public relations image. Red Bull bosses simply do not consider Tsunoda talented enough to be promoted.

If Tsunoda were to leave the team, it is speculated that Liam Lawson could take his place at RB. Lawson had an impressive debut with the team in 2023 and is considered the best option after Tsunoda’s departure. However, it should be noted that the team has previously stated that they are satisfied with their current lineup of drivers for the current season.

However, this does not mean that Tsunoda will not leave the team. In this scenario, it is suggested that Lawson joins Ricciardo at RB. However, for this to happen, Tsunoda must leave RB and Horner must focus exclusively on Tsunoda and not consider other possibilities.

In order for Ricciardo to receive recognition for his performances, he needs to start achieving notable results. He needs the support of the fans, who may see Horner’s supposed favoritism towards him as an obstacle. Ricciardo needs to elevate his performance and provide tough competition for Tsunoda at RB.
