F1 Academy Star Nicole Havrda Hospitalized After Shocking Singapore Crash – Latest Update!

F1 ACADEMY’S NICOLE HAVRDA RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AFTER SHOCKING SINGAPORE CRASH

In a heart-stopping moment during the exhilarating opening lap of Race 1 at the thrilling F1 Academy Round 6 in Singapore, American Express Hitech TGR driver Nicole Havrda found herself in a harrowing situation after crashing into the wall. The 19-year-old Canadian-Czech driver, who started the race from a challenging 17th position, was quickly transferred to Singapore General Hospital for precautionary checks following the incident.

F1 Academy released an official statement confirming the unfortunate event: “F1 ACADEMY confirms that following an incident in Race 1 at Round 6 of the 2025 F1 ACADEMY Series at the FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX, American Express driver Nicole Havrda has been transferred to Singapore General Hospital for precautionary checks.”

Fortunately, Havrda took to her Instagram story shortly after, providing a reassuring update to her fans and followers. “Feeling great, just bruised my hand from hitting the side of my car when letting go of the wheel when I crashed,” she wrote, alleviating concerns about her well-being.

As Havrda recuperates, the race continued with Lia Block, supported by Williams, seizing her first F1 Academy victory, while Maya Weug and Chloe Chambers secured second and third place, respectively. Despite the setback, Havrda is eager to recover in time for Race 2, scheduled for Sunday, October 5, at 15:25 local time.

In her inaugural season within the all-female racing series, Havrda currently holds the 17th position in the standings, having earned one point during Race 1 in Montreal. Her remarkable journey began in 2020, where she showcased her racing prowess in karting competitions, including the West Coast Kart Club and the Rotax Max West Karting Championship.

Havrda made headlines in 2022 as the youngest competitor in the W Series shootout and the Heart of Racing shootout, further cementing her place in the racing world by becoming the youngest driver to race in the Indian Racing League. Before her entry into F1 Academy in 2025, she claimed victory in the Formula Pro USA Winter Series and the Western Championship in 2023, followed by a full-time seat in the Formula Regional Americas Championship in 2024.

In addition to her F1 Academy commitments, Havrda is gearing up for the final two rounds of the 2025 Formula 4 CEZ Championship at Slovakia Ring and Brno, competing for JMT Racing. The motorsport community is watching closely as this talented driver navigates not only the challenges of racing but also the road to recovery following her recent crash.

Stay tuned for updates as Havrda prepares to return to the track, proving that resilience and determination are at the heart of every champion.
