Formula 1 racing legend, Fernando Alonso, has openly expressed skepticism over Lando Norris’s bold outlook that more than four teams will walk away as winners in the upcoming 2025 season. Alonso, a seasoned veteran in the sport, contends that the unpredictability factor in Formula 1 championships may not be high enough to permit such a scenario.

Over the course of 2024, there was a remarkable shift in the grid’s competitiveness. Four major teams – Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren, and Mercedes – each had their share of victories. This was a stark contrast to the 2023 season, where only one race yielded a different winner. This shift in dynamics brought with it a fresh wave of excitement and unpredictability.

However, Alonso, known for his grounded views, believes the sport still lacks the volatility necessary for more than four teams to clinch victories in the upcoming season. His comments are sure to ignite a debate amongst Formula 1 enthusiasts around the globe.

While there’s no denying the thrill and unpredictability that 2024 brought, it remains to be seen whether this trend will continue into the 2025 season, or whether Alonso’s prediction will hold true. As we inch closer to the highly-anticipated season, fans and pundits alike will be waiting with bated breath to see how this captivating narrative unfolds.

The world of Formula 1 racing is known for its high-octane action and high-stakes competition. The 2025 season promises to be no different. Whether it will follow the path of 2024, or forge its own trajectory, only time will tell. But one thing is for sure – the words of Alonso, a respected voice in the sport, will echo in the ears of every team as they prepare for the battles ahead. It’s a thrilling time for the sport, and the anticipation is palpable.
