The highly anticipated 2025 Formula 1 season is just around the corner, and the excitement has been building with the reveal of the full set of team liveries for the new year. In a groundbreaking first, Formula 1 launched its 75th anniversary celebrations by gathering all 10 teams under one roof at London’s O2 Arena to showcase their striking new designs. From fresh partnerships to bold new aesthetics, here’s a rundown of what we can expect to see on the track in F1 2025.

1. Sauber’s Final Year: The C45 and Audi’s Anticipation

First up was the Sauber C45, the team’s final car before its transition into Audi F1 in 2026. The livery retains the striking black and green color scheme that has become synonymous with the Swiss outfit. After a challenging 2024 season that saw them finish without a single point, Sauber is hoping to build momentum with the C45 in what will be their swan song before Audi takes over the reins.

2. Williams’ Bold New Era: FW47 and a Major Sponsorship Deal

The buzz surrounding Williams has never been greater, especially with the team securing a massive title sponsorship deal with Atlassian. The FW47, revealed in all its glory in London, signals the start of a new era for the British team. Having already teased its design with a camouflage livery at Silverstone, Williams unveiled the true colors of their 2025 contender, which will be piloted by Carlos Sainz alongside Alex Albon. Williams is poised to make waves in F1 with a competitive car and an exciting new partnership.

3. Red Bull’s Junior Squad: VCARB 02 Steals the Show

Next, it was the turn of the Red Bull junior squad, VCARB, to unveil their new livery. The team made a statement with a predominantly white design, accented by Red Bull’s iconic yellow and red, with purple highlights adding a touch of flair. The VCARB 02’s eye-catching appearance stole the show, offering a fresh new look for the team as they head into 2025 with high hopes for their young driver lineup.

4. Haas VF-25: A New Chapter with Toyota and a Strong Driver Lineup

Haas is another team expected to make a splash in 2025, thanks in part to their new partnership with Toyota and the introduction of their VF-25. The car’s sleek new design reflects both the benefits of this new collaboration and the team’s ambition for the upcoming season. With Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman at the wheel, the VF-25 is set to be a serious contender in F1 2025.

5. Alpine’s Stunning Fusion of Pink and Blue

Alpine has embraced a new direction with their 2025 livery, combining the traditional pink and blue designs into a single stunning color scheme. The result is a visually striking car that stands out on the grid. As the team prepares for their final season with Renault engines, the pressure is on for Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan to make a lasting impact before Alpine transitions to Mercedes power in 2026.

6. Aston Martin: AMR25 and the Road to 2026

Aston Martin may be looking ahead to F1 2026, but the AMR25 car is a significant part of the journey. While expectations may be “low” for 2025, the team still has plenty to prove, especially after a difficult season that saw them slip back into the midfield. Fernando Alonso, who made a memorable James Bond-themed entrance, expressed confidence in the team, dubbing the AMR25 “the best-looking car of the night.” With Adrian Newey joining the team soon, Aston Martin is gearing up for a big reset.

7. Mercedes’ W16: A New Era Without Hamilton, But Still Influenced by Him

The W16 marks the dawn of a new era for Mercedes, with Lewis Hamilton’s departure to Ferrari after over a decade with the team. Kimi Antonelli and George Russell will take the reins in 2025, but Hamilton’s influence remains visible, with black once again dominating the livery. The team also made waves by scaling back INEOS branding, sparking speculation about the future of their ownership structure.

8. Red Bull’s RB21: Ready for More Dominance in 2025

Red Bull remains the team to beat, and the unveiling of their new RB21 for 2025 only solidifies that position. Max Verstappen will be joined by new teammate Liam Lawson as Red Bull looks to defend both the Constructors’ and Drivers’ titles. With a fresh livery designed to reflect their ongoing dominance, the RB21 is poised to continue Red Bull’s supremacy on the grid.

9. Ferrari’s SF-25: A New Chapter with Hamilton at the Wheel

Ferrari’s SF-25 is a bold statement for the Scuderia, which has ushered in Lewis Hamilton as a new team member for 2025. The SF-25 features a darker shade of red, symbolizing the team’s commitment to ending their long title drought. The crowd went wild when the livery was revealed, and Ferrari fans are hopeful that Hamilton’s presence will finally lead to the title the team has been chasing since 2008.

10. McLaren’s MCL39: A Title Contender with Big Ambitions

Finally, McLaren unveiled their MCL39, a car designed with one goal in mind: to win the Drivers’ Championship. After a successful 2024 campaign that saw them claim the Constructors’ title, McLaren is eager to add the Drivers’ title to their list of achievements. Both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri are fired up for 2025, and with a car as sleek and competitive as the MCL39, McLaren could very well be a serious contender for both titles this season.
