Max Verstappen was the fastest driver in the last practice session before the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, according to the latest reports. The session saw an increase in activity towards the end but was briefly interrupted after an incident involving Zhou Guanyu’s Sauber. Verstappen, the current world champion, set a lap time of 1:28.412s, with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc finishing less than two tenths of a second behind. Oliver Bearman, replacing the ill Carlos Sainz in the other Ferrari car, impressed by securing 10th place, with a time less than a second slower than Verstappen’s. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton struggled and ended up in ninth place, behind his teammate George Russell by three tenths of a second, who finished in fourth place.
