Racing Bulls Boss Unleashes Truth About Liam Lawson’s Struggles at Red Bull

The motorsport world is abuzz with the latest revelations from Racing Bulls boss Laurent Mekies regarding the team’s reaction to Liam Lawson’s underwhelming performances at Red Bull. The shocking decision to swap Lawson with Yuki Tsunoda early in the 2025 season has left fans and pundits questioning the young driver’s capabilities.

After a lackluster start to the season with no points scored in Melbourne and China, Lawson found himself back at Racing Bulls while Tsunoda was given the opportunity to prove himself at Red Bull. Many believed Tsunoda deserved the promotion, having been part of the Formula 1 scene for four seasons with the sister team.

Mekies, who has the challenging task of reigniting Lawson’s confidence, shed light on the driver’s current state, revealing that despite the setback, Lawson is in good spirits and ready to prove himself on the track. The seasoned boss expressed his confidence in Lawson’s talent and the team’s commitment to supporting him through this rough patch.

While Mekies remains supportive of Lawson, he admitted to being surprised by the driver’s struggles at Red Bull. Lawson’s difficulties adapting to the new environment resulted in poor performances in Australia and China. However, Mekies remains optimistic about Lawson’s potential and believes the young driver can bounce back stronger than ever.

As the Japanese Grand Prix kicks off, all eyes are on Lawson as he aims to showcase his skills and make a statement on the track. Despite a challenging start to the season, Lawson has shown glimpses of improvement during the practice sessions in Japan, hinting at a potential turnaround in his fortunes.

With the Racing Bulls team rallying behind him, Lawson is determined to silence his critics and prove that he belongs among the elite in Formula 1. As the drama unfolds on the track, fans eagerly await to see if Lawson can rise to the occasion and reclaim his rightful place among the top drivers in the sport.
