The first details of the upcoming video game F1 Manager 2024 have been revealed ahead of its mid-year release. This game, which does not have an official release date beyond “summer 2024,” will mark the third edition of the F1 Manager series developed by Frontier Developments.
The standout feature in the 2024 edition will be the ability for players to establish their own team for the first time, competing alongside the 10 existing teams on the F1 circuit. Players will be faced with a series of crucial choices as they build their teams, such as weighing the pursuit of established talent against hiring future prospects on and off the track. Additionally, they will need to decide whether to prioritize immediate upgrades to the car for quick success or invest in facilities to ensure a lasting presence at the top of the grid.
Furthermore, the game will introduce a new mentality system for drivers and teams, aiming to highlight their distinct personalities and demands. Players will be tasked with managing team morale while dealing with an “enhanced AI” that aims to reduce the gap between players and their opponents.
In an attempt to add an extra layer of challenge, the game will incorporate mechanical failures as a constant threat capable of disrupting even the most robust strategies.
F1 Manager 2024 will be available on various platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
