She expressed her satisfaction with the speed she has shown this year, although actual results have been elusive. However, her impressive climb from sixth to third place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway has been her best performance in Indy NXT so far. The transition from the W Series to Indy NXT has been a significant learning experience for Chadwick, especially in terms of the physical demands of the sport. She has been training more intensely during the offseason and has gained a deeper understanding of the car. Chadwick’s racing career was primarily based in Europe until she made the decision to compete in Indy NXT in America. The Jamie Chadwick Series strives to address the limited number of female participants in the sport by offering a one-year program for young girls in the UK.
“I was extremely lucky to enter the world of motorsport, but there was still no established path for women to advance in the field.
“There are very few people like me in this industry and, as a young girl, it was quite an intimidating environment.
“What we have achieved together with Daytona is truly remarkable, with over 40 participants in each category and a plethora of registered people expressing interest.”
With support for young girls at the grassroots level of motorsport constantly increasing, Chadwick’s program serves to create more opportunities.
While the F1 Academy continues to make important strides on the global stage, Chadwick remains a source of inspiration for countless young aspiring individuals in the world of motorsport.
