Lewis Hamilton, the most accomplished driver in Formula 1 history, is widely adored in the world of F1. With a huge global fan base, his popularity was evident during the 2024 Chinese Grand Prix weekend.

Before the 53-lap Grand Prix, Hamilton made his way to the main straight, causing the fans at the Shanghai circuit to go into a frenzy. The noise levels were out of the ordinary and even LH44 banners were spotted in the crowd.

Interestingly, when Hamilton finished his interview and walked away, most of the media and camera crew followed him, leaving the Aston Martin duo [names] with the interviewer. This amusing incident highlights the immense attention and focus on Hamilton.

There won’t be any photos of Aston Martin because everyone followed Lewis Hamilton, which is a testament to his genuine popularity. The expressions on Stroll and Alonso’s faces clearly showed that they felt somewhat out of place amidst the overwhelming support Hamilton was receiving. However, considering Hamilton’s remarkable achievements in the sport, this should not come as a big surprise.

While Hamilton has captivated fans during the ongoing Chinese Grand Prix weekend, he acknowledged that he needs to do better. In yesterday’s qualifying session, he was eliminated right after Q1.

The 39-year-old driver understands the situation and is determined to step up his game. Hamilton admitted it was entirely his fault for not making it to Q2 and praised his team and George Russell for their efforts. He emphasized the need to eliminate excuses and deliver a better performance.

With four races completed in the current season, Hamilton has consistently been the second best driver at Mercedes, trailing behind the young [driver’s name]. However, considering Hamilton’s willingness to take responsibility for his mistakes regarding Russell, it will be intriguing to see how he will perform in the upcoming 53-lap race.
