Ex-F1 racer claims Aston Martin’s AMR24 is a revamped Red Bull 2023 car.

Aston Martin surprised the Formula 1 paddock with its AMR23 vehicle during the initial few races of the 2023 F1 season. The Red Bull F1 team dominated the 2023 season with their powerful RB19 vehicle, leaving their competitors far behind. As the 2024 F1 season approaches, former Haas driver Romain Grosjean has revealed that Aston Martin’s 2024 vehicle, the AMR24, is an improved version of Red Bull’s RB19.

The Aston Martin team, led by Grosjean, developed a vehicle for the 2023 season that was heavily influenced by Red Bull’s successful 2022 challenger. Grosjean believes that the AMR24 will be very similar to the RB19, but slightly better. In a video on his YouTube channel, Grosjean stated, “The AMR24 will follow the philosophy of Red Bull’s RB19. It’s not surprising that Aston Martin chose to do so, considering Red Bull had the fastest vehicle last year.

While Grosjean has indicated that Aston Martin’s AMR24 will be an improved version of the RB19, many consider them to be dark horses this year. There is a belief among several people that the AMR24 could be a strong contender in the world championship fight.

During the 2023 season, Aston Martin was the only team that was able to challenge Red Bull in the early races. Although their challenge faded quickly, Fernando Alonso and his teammates are hoping for a better season this year.

Red Bull is confident as they enter the 2024 F1 season, but they may face some tension within their team if Aston Martin proves to be competitive during the upcoming testing sessions.

According to a source, Aston Martin’s AMR24 is expected to be an improved version of Red Bull’s RB19.
