The weekly report from the Regulatory Authority for Energy Services (ERSE), released this Monday, indicates that the efficient price of gasoline and diesel has seen an increase compared to last week, of +1.1% for regular 95 gasoline and +0.8% for regular diesel.
According to the ERSE document, the efficient price has been updated, “taking into account the weekly variation of international prices for regular 95 gasoline by +3% and for regular diesel by +2% respectively”.
Thus, for the week of September 23 to 29, “the Efficient Price before taxes is €0.748 per liter for regular 95 gasoline and €0.756 for regular diesel. After taxes, the Efficient Price is €1.700 per liter for regular 95 gasoline and €1.550 for regular diesel”.
ERSE reminds that the efficient price “is a weekly average price estimated by ERSE and results from the sum of the following components: the prices of fuels in the international reference markets and their respective shipping costs, primary logistics, which includes strategic and security reserves of the National Oil System, additional costs associated with the incorporation of biofuels, and the retail component plus the respective taxes”.
Regarding the previous week, the report states that “it was found that the average Public Sale Prices announced on the billboards, and reported in the Single Energy Counter, were 1.4 cents per liter above the Efficient Price for that week, in the case of regular gasoline 95, and 6.1 cents above in the case of regular diesel”.
In percentage terms, “regular gasoline 95 was announced on the billboards 0.9% above the Efficient Price and regular diesel was announced 3.8% above”, according to the report from ERSE.
