Enzo Fittipaldi confirmed another season in Formula 2 in 2024, now with Van Amersfoort Racing – the team with which he already tested in Yas Marina at the end of November. It will be the pilot’s third full year, after a stint with Charouz in 2022 and Rodin Carlin in 2023 – where he achieved his first victory.
It was in 2016 that the Brazilian made his debut in single-seaters, achieving his first title in 2018 in the Italian Formula 4. He then moved on to the Formula Regional European Championship before reaching Formula 3. In 2021, he made his first appearances in F2, where he joined full-time the following year and has remained until now.
In a statement, Fittipaldi – grandson of Emerson – said: ‘The team and I had a positive first experience working together during the post-season F2 test in Abu Dhabi last week. At this moment, I am looking forward to the next season, which will be a new challenge for everyone. Competing in the new 2024 F2 cars will be exciting, and I am confident that the team and I will have a great season together’.
