After several months of speculation, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has now confirmed via social media that the presentation of the brand’s autonomous taxi will indeed take place on October 10th.
The event had previously been postponed due to the need for design changes to the autonomous vehicle. Later, “Blomberg” reported that the presentation of the robotaxi was expected to be held at a Warner Bros Discovery studio in the Los Angeles area, USA. Now, Musk has confirmed that on October 10th, the American electric car brand will host an event titled “We, Robot” in the city of Los Angeles, which is expected to showcase the brand’s autonomous taxi.

It is worth noting that Musk has previously revealed that autonomous vehicles are fundamental to Tesla as an artificial intelligence company. However, it is still unclear whether the American brand will be able to master autonomous driving.
Tesla already offers the Full Self-Driving system, which requires driver supervision and often makes mistakes, but Elon Musk believes that the new system will allow a fleet of robotaxis to generate income for the company and for Tesla vehicle owners, utilizing the electric cars when they are parked.
