Elfyn Evans refused to back down in the final-day shootout at Rally Sweden, clawing back his lead from Takamoto Katsuta with just one stage left to decide the winner.

Katsuta stunned the field on the first pass of Västervik, erasing Evans’ advantage with a 7.5-second charge to take the lead by 4.5s. But Evans wasn’t about to let victory slip away.
