Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that it will unveil the new GLC at the Munich Motor Show (IAA Mobility) taking place from September 9 to 14.
The new electric GLC is the first in a completely new series of models from the German brand featuring an iconic and sophisticated design from Mercedes-Benz and built on an 800-volt electric architecture. This technology optimizes efficiency and performance, significantly reducing charging times when combined with the latest generation of batteries.
Inside, the highlight is the next-generation MBUX Hyperscreen, which promises to deliver an impressive spatial experience and digital elegance, with intuitive features powered by the intelligent superbrain MB.OS.
Benefiting from a wheelbase that is eight centimeters longer compared to the combustion GLC, passengers enjoy more space. The trunk offers a storage capacity of 570 liters, which expands to 1,740 liters with the rear seats folded down. Additionally, the front compartment (frunk) contributes an extra 128 liters of cargo capacity, accessible via touch control.
In addition to the new electric GLC, Mercedes will take advantage of its presence at the Munich Show to inaugurate a new era of Grand Limousines with a camouflaged prototype of the new fully electric VLE, which will hit the roads in 2026.
